Project Goal:
To create a series of three posters to enrich my portfolio, improve typography skills, and explore current trends in graphic design. The main objective was to test combinations of fonts, colors, and objects to achieve an attractive visual composition.
Idea and Concept:
The work on the series began with the poster “Wanna talk?”, the idea for which came to me spontaneously. Later, it was decided by me to complement it with two more works, thus forming a series inspired by the aesthetics of the 2000s.
Each poster depicts a device from that era and a short phrase related to it:
Wired telephone (Wanna talk?)
Old computer (Press any key)
Cassette player (Retro play)
Style and Visual Solutions:
A consistent style, choice of fonts, and overall concept ensure harmony within the series.
Each poster is independent enough to be used on its own.
Fonts used:
Kontes — bold and massive, attracting attention;
Snell Roundhand — light and elegant, creating balance.
Color palette: bright and vibrant, characteristic of the 2000s era.
Target Audience:
Young people interested in retro aesthetics and interior decor trends.
Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
