Project Goal:
This academic project was created to practice designing a service flyer for a chosen field and to learn how to organize information clearly within a printed layout.
Type of work: Academic project
Idea and Concept:
I chose to design a brochure for a place offering traditional Chinese tea ceremonies. The concept is based on showing how simple tea drinking can be transformed into a calm and meaningful experience. This is a fictional place created for the project.
The brochure content is written in Polish, as the project was completed during my studies in Polish, while the venue name remains in English to stay recognizable for tourists.
Format and Structure:
Tri-fold brochure (three panels on both sides)
DL format (A4 horizontal), folded in a C-fold
Designed sections include:
Cover
Contact information
Price list of services
Description of the venue and its concept
Tea menu
Opening hours and days
A sample QR code linking to the venue’s website
Visual Solutions:
Color palette: deep red, blue, and light blue, creating strong contrast while staying harmonious.
Typography:
Combination of a handwritten font and a clean sans-serif font (Acme Regular) for the cover.
Acme Regular for headings and Cabin SemiBold for body text.
The design follows Asian-inspired aesthetics, using patterns and elements associated with tea ceremonies to clearly communicate the theme.
The letter “T” in the word Tea on the cover was customized with an element inspired by Chinese culture to add a unique visual detail.
Target Audience:
Tourists, tea lovers, and people interested in calm, cultural, and mindful experiences.
Software: Adobe Illustrator
